Imperial Enterprise Week: seven inventions and the inventors behind them

An increasing number of innovative ideas are being turned into commercialised products and spin-out companies every year. In 2016-17, the Faculty of Medicine generated 92 invention disclosures involving 79 academics from across our 5 Departments. To celebrate Imperial Enterprise Week – a week-long showcase of start-ups, entrepreneurs and innovators from across the Imperial community – our Faculty of Medicine is highlighting seven health innovations and the Imperial inventors behind them. This article features some of the game-changing inventions that have been developed in the Faculty in recent years.
