The ITMAT Data Science Group (DSG) was created in 2016 as an integral part of the NIHR Imperial BRC’s Institute of Translational Medicine and Therapeutics (ITMAT). The focus of DSG is to enable scientific discovery through the curation and sharing of data, advanced applications of computational methods, development of novel algorithms and software, implementation of analytical pipelines, and maintenance of existing software tools.

On 15th June 2018, the DSG will host a workshop on ‘Data Science Challenges and Opportunities in Translational Medicine’. It is hoped that this event will bring together researchers from across Imperial and ICHT to discuss the current challenges and opportunities in using data science for translational medicine.

You can view the programme for this event here. If you wish to attend, please register in advance.
