For healthcare professionals and scientists, data is knowledge, which serves as the basis for providing the finest care and treatments to patients. Data here typifies the routinely collected health-related information from patients. In absence of such crucial information, research would be delimited because pioneering new cures or enhancing regular treatments rely heavily on superior-quality data from patients.
With support from the NIHR Imperial BRC, researchers at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust have secure access to anonymised healthcare data from across the Trust and North West London to help answer some of the key questions relating to the delivery of care.
