Getting the most out of your Clinical PhD/MD(Res)16:00 - 17:00The Clinical Academic Training Office (CATO) is delighted to invite you to attend a session on ‘Getting the most out of your Clinical PhD/MD(Res)’. The virtual session will provide information on how Imperial can support your clinical academic aspirations, and information on transitioning from clinical work into the PhD and back into clinical practice/ training or tips on continuing an academic career. This FREE session is open to Doctors and *NMAHPPs who are current (or recently completed) PhD/MDRes fellows, and planning the next steps of their clinical academic career. The session will include:
• An overview of CATO and other support for clinical academics at the PhD stage (Prof Jeremy Levy, CATO Director)
• Advice from a Director of Postgraduate Research (Prof Kevin Murphy, Dept of Metabolism, Digestion & Reproduction, Imperial College London)
• Top tips/personal insight from 2 recent previous PhD Fellows
• An opportunity for you to ask questions specific to your current situation.
