North West London Research Symposium for NMAHPPS12:00 - 17:00Open for booking now! The North West London Research Symposium for NMAHPPS will take place on Wednesday September 30, 2026. This popular FREE symposium is aimed at NMAHPPs (Nurses, Midwives, Allied Health Professionals, Healthcare Scientists, Pharmacy Staff and Psychologists) and academics in North West London (NWL) thinking of taking a research postgraduate course, those wondering about pursuing a research career and those involved in healthcare research already. This year's event will run in-person at the Copthorne Tara Hotel (South Kensington) and offers a great opportunity to meet, network and learn from the collective research experience of colleagues working across North West London. Joining us for our keynote session this year is Professor Gary Frost, Chair in Nutrition & Dietetics at Imperial College London. We will hear from Professor Frost about his journey from allied health practitioner to Professor in his field. In addition, you will have the chance to take part in workshops on topics including writing for publication, impact, innovation and fellowship applications. You will have the opportunity to view posters, submitted by peers from across North West London, and to hear two research presentations selected from the best of the abstracts submitted. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so early booking is advised to avoid disappointment. This Symposium is delivered by Imperial College Clinical Academic Training Office on behalf of the Imperial College Academic Health Science Centre (AHSC) partners.
