Within the existing NIHR Imperial BRC UK Cloud High Performance Environment, an accelerated infrastructure re-development has taken place to enable a sector-wide response to COVID-19 with data availability and high-performance computing supporting direct patient care.
De-identified datasets have been provisioned, according to agreed policies, collating direct care outputs for both Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHNT) and Whole Systems Integrated Care (WSIC)-related COVID-19 returns.
The COVID-19 Data Prioritisation Group has been established to ensure appropriate research access to this North West London COVID-19 dataset. This group is a decision-making committee, providing rapid and rigorous data access reviews, in-line with information governance requirements.
Data access requests must be submitted online via completion of the NWL Covid-19 Research Project Data Access Request Form either online or by downloading and completing a word document.
The deadline for consideration at the group’s weekly meeting is 16:30 every Wednesday. If your form has been completed appropriately, you will be invited to present your project on the following Friday at 10-11am.

Find out more about a collaborative project RECAP (Remote COVID-19 Assessment in Primary Care), that aims to develop and validate a primary care early warning score specific to COVID-19, based on data that can be reliably collected during a remote GP consultation.
The full list of current projects with granted data access can be found here.
