Bioresource for Adult Infectious Disease (BioAID)
The Bioresource for Adult Infectious Diseases (BioAID) is a collaborative project between multiple NHS Hospitals in partnership with closely affiliated UK Universities. It is funded by the NIHR Imperial BRC, and led by Professor Shiranee Sriskandan and Professor Graham Cooke. The study collects biological samples and clinical information from patients presenting to hospital with a suspected infectious disease, and its focus is now on COVID-19.
