The official font that the NIHR recommends is Lato. This can be downloaded from the Google Fonts repository without any charge if it is not available on your device. Arial can be used if Lato is not accessible.

The recommended font size for text is 12 points and the minimum font size is 8 points.

Any communication materials should be produced in line with the NIHR’s Colour Codes guidance.
